This fusion of dry vermouth and Sicilian dessert wine gives this classic cocktail a little je ne sais quoi—or rather, non so che—beyond compare. Sun-dried fruits and thick honey entwine with herbal and bitter botanicals. It’s the city as garden; the air, blossoms and spice.

Ingredients

2oz

Fortune’s Fool Straight Rye Whiskey

.5oz

Dolin Dry Vermouth

.5oz

Donnafugata Ben Ryé Dessert Wine

4 DASHES

Aromatic Bitters

Directions

In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients. Gently stir over ice until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a cherry.
